1st Ruckinge & Hamstreet Scout Troop
We are a very active Group with both indoor and outdoor activities in trying to deliver the aims of the Scout movement.
The aim is:
"To help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as Members of their local, national and international communities".

We base our program on practical scouting skills, such as pioneering (rope and timber work) canoeing, hiking, outdoor/backwoods cooking and camping.
Along with these activities, we also have some fun with ski-ing, quad bikes, tobagganing, and participating in the Groups Gang Shows.
